Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pixora ("Pixora", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and interview-practice platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — email address, full name, avatar, and password (or, if you sign in with Google or GitHub, the profile information those providers share with us).
  • Profile information — bio, GitHub/LinkedIn URLs, current and target job position, years of experience, preferred programming language, country, and timezone, if you choose to provide them.
  • Practice and interview data — the code you write, your test submissions, session transcripts, audio captured during voice-based mock interviews, code snapshots, final solutions, session duration, and the feedback reports generated for you.
  • Payment information — which plan you purchased, order and payment status, and amount charged. We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank details — these are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Razorpay.
  • Usage data — device and browser information, IP address, and timestamps of activity on the Service, used for security and to improve the product.

2. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your session while you use the Service. We do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the practice and mock-interview platform
  • To run your code and generate automated test results and feedback reports
  • To power our AI mock interviewers and evaluate your interview performance
  • To process payments and grant the plan quota you purchased
  • To communicate with you about your account, sessions, and support requests
  • To detect abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and keep the Service secure
  • To understand usage patterns and improve the product

4. AI Processing & Voice Data

During a voice-based mock interview, your audio is streamed to our AI service providers (currently OpenAI) to power the interviewer, transcribe the conversation, and generate your feedback report. The resulting transcript, code history, and evaluation are stored as part of your session data and are only accessible to you and platform admins for support purposes.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Supabase — our authentication and database provider, which stores your account and platform data.
  • Razorpay — our payment processor, which handles payment collection in compliance with applicable payment-industry standards.
  • OpenAI — our AI service provider, which processes voice and text during mock interviews to generate transcripts and feedback.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where required to comply with a legal obligation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pixora, our users, or the public.
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same commitments described in this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and session data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, payment and billing records) to comply with tax, accounting, or other legal obligations.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You can access and update most of your profile information directly from your account settings. To request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us at [email protected].

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

Pixora is operated from India, and our service providers (including Supabase, Razorpay, and OpenAI) may process and store data in India and other countries. By using the Service, you consent to your information being processed in these locations.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.

12. Contact Us
